In Serie A action on Saturday, Lazio secured a 1-0 victory over Juventus with a stoppage-time goal from defender Adam Marusic, marking coach Igor Tudor’s successful debut. Meanwhile, AC Milan defeated Fiorentina 2-1.

Marusic scored the winning goal by heading in a late cross from substitute Matteo Guendouzi in Rome.

Tudor expressed his delight with the result, calling it the perfect start. He praised his players for their performance and was pleased with how they approached the game.

Having replaced Maurizio Sarri recently, Tudor, a former Juventus player, celebrated a successful start to his coaching tenure. He had previously won Italian titles with Juventus in 2002 and 2003.
