The Sunday action at Augusta National kicked off under sunny skies and warm weather. Scottie Scheffler took the lead by one shot over Collin Morikawa and two shots over Max Homa as they all aim for victory in the Masters tournament.

Morikawa hopes to secure the third part of his career grand slam, while Homa is eyeing his first major win.

Tiger Woods teed off in the third group alongside Neal Shipley, the sole amateur to cut this year, following his challenging round on Saturday.

The strong winds from Friday have subsided, but temperatures are expected to rise to the mid-80s. The golf course, already firm and fast, may pose even more challenges as it dries out throughout the day.

During the exciting third round on Saturday, six players took turns sharing the lead, with a five-way tie occurring early on the back nine.

Scheffler finished with a 1-under 71, sinking an 8-foot birdie putt on the last hole to maintain his lead over Morikawa, a two-time major champion whose performance has fluctuated recently.

Colin Morikawa

Morikawa ended Saturday with a 69, making him the only player to score below par all three days at these Masters.

Despite not having a top 10 finish since the beginning of the year, Morikawa feels confident after finding a key to his swing on Monday and switching putters for the first round, putting him in a good position to win the green jacket.

Homa, on the other hand, hasn’t had a birdie in 32 holes and finished only two strokes behind with a round of 17 pars and one bogey, scoring a 73 on Saturday. Schauffele hasn’t bogeyed in 25 holes, trailing by five after his third-round 70.

DeChambeau faced a tough situation on the 18th hole Saturday but managed to salvage a birdie after a challenging round, setting the stage for an exciting finale to the Masters on Sunday.
