Bryce Miller and three relief pitchers worked together to limit the Cincinnati Reds to just one hit. Cal Raleigh, Mitch Garver, and Josh Rojas all hit solo home runs to help the Seattle Mariners secure a 5-1 victory and complete a three-game sweep.

Miller, who has been in excellent form lately, surrendered only one hit, which led to the Reds’ lone run. Although he gave up a home run to Elly De La Cruz in the second inning, Miller remained dominant for the rest of his six-inning outing.

He admitted to facing some early challenges with his fastball, but was able to adjust as the game progressed, relying on his secondary pitches to keep the Reds at bay.

After Miller’s solid performance, Trent Thornton, Gabe Speier, and Austin Voth each pitched a scoreless inning in relief to seal the victory for the Mariners.

Manager Scott Servais praised the team’s pitching and defensive efforts, highlighting their recent improvements in playing cleaner baseball.

On the offensive side, Seattle’s Andrew Abbott matched Miller’s performance for the first five innings.

However, Raleigh’s solo homer in the second inning and Garver’s home run in the sixth inning provided enough run support for the Mariners. Garver’s home run was particularly significant as it marked his first with the Mariners after a recent batting slump.
