Cristiano Ronaldo scored three goals and assisted twice in Al-Nassr’s 8-0 victory against Abha in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday.
This was Ronaldo’s second hat trick in three days, following his three-goal performance in the previous match against Al-Tai. He now leads the league with a total of 29 goals.
Ronaldo’s first two goals in the match came from free-kicks. He scored the opening goal with a low shot from just outside the area, followed by a curled shot around the wall. He then provided an assist to Sadio Mané for Al-Nassr’s third goal.
Before halftime, Ronaldo completed his hat trick with a superb chip from outside the area. He also set up Abdulmajeed Al-Sulayhim for another goal before being substituted at halftime.
Even after Ronaldo’s substitution, Al-Nassr continued to score, with Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa adding more goals.
Despite the win, Al-Nassr remains in second place, trailing Al-Hilal by 12 points with eight games left in the season. Al-Hilal announced that their top scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic, is likely to miss the remainder of the season due to injury.
