Veteran Patriots center David Andrews will continue playing for at least two more seasons in New England.
According to ESPN’s Field Yates, Andrews has reached an agreement with the team on an extension that includes the 2025 season. Under the terms, he will earn a base value of $12 million over the next two seasons, with $8 million guaranteed and a maximum value of $13 million.
Arriving as an undrafted free agent in 2015, Andrews is one of the longest-serving members of the team alongside long-snapper Joe Cardona. He has started in 117 regular season games and 10 playoff games, including wins in Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LIII.
Having played alongside new Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo during his rookie year, Andrews’ new contract signifies his key role in the team’s transition to the post-Bill Belichick era in New England.
