Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom has more than just unifying the atom-weight kickboxing world titles on her agenda at ONE Fight Night 20. Set to face Janet Todd in a five-round kickboxing clash at Lumpinee Stadium, Bangkok, she aims to make history on International Women’s Day by breaking the gender barrier in a momentous event.

Recently seen in street clothes at ONE Fight Night 19, Phetjeeja rallied support for the upcoming spectacle, emphasizing the prowess of female fighters. With enthusiasm from the crowd at ‘The Mecca of Muay Thai,’ she expressed her determination to showcase the talent and strength of women in combat sports.

“I will be headlining the [event] for the championship on International Women’s Day. There will be a lot of female fighters there. I want to show everybody that the female fighters are just as good as the male fighters, that we are as strong as the male fighters.”

At only 22 years old, Phetjeeja boasts an impressive career record of 206 wins and 6 losses, a testament to her skill and dedication that rivals many male fighters.
