Running back J.K. Dobbins has already met with one AFC West team and is now visiting another. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Dobbins is currently in Kansas City for a visit with the Chiefs on Tuesday.
Dobbins, who is 25 years old, is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon sustained in the first week of the 2023 regular season. A recent report from NFL Media stated that Dobbins has been given clearance for all football activities.
Selected in the second round of the 2020 draft, Dobbins had an impressive rookie season, rushing for 805 yards with nine touchdowns and averaging 6.0 yards per carry.
However, he missed the entire 2021 season due to a torn ACL suffered in a preseason game. He returned to play eight games in 2022 and maintained a strong average of 5.7 yards per carry.
Last week, Dobbins visited with the Chargers. Another former Ravens running back, Gus Edwards, recently signed with Los Angeles. Schefter mentioned that Dobbins is expected to sign with a new team soon.
