The Jacksonville Jaguars have secured the services of defensive lineman Jeremiah Ledbetter for the upcoming season.

In an announcement made on Friday, the Jaguars revealed that they have re-signed Ledbetter. Details regarding the terms of the new contract were not disclosed.

Ledbetter initially joined the Jaguars’ practice squad in 2021 and later appeared in one game during the 2022 season. However, he became a regular presence on the field for the team last season, participating in every game.

Notably, he earned two starts and concluded the season with 24 tackles, a forced fumble, and a pass defensed to his name.

Selected in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions, Ledbetter has also had stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before finding a home in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars have been proactive in retaining key players this week, having also secured the services of guard Ezra Cleveland and safety Daniel Thomas.
