The 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am progressed on Friday at the Spyglass Hill Golf Course in Pebble Beach, California, with NFL quarterbacks maintaining their presence among the top celebrity competitors in the annual event.

Celebrities took part in the initial two rounds alongside their professional partners. Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, who recently announced his retirement from the NFL after the 2022 season, teamed up with his longtime friend and New England Patriots enthusiast Keegan Bradley.

Following a six-under first round, the Brady/Bradley pair concluded the second round at six-under as well, tying for 20th place at 12 under par after two rounds.

During the second round, Brady shared a touching moment with Bradley’s six-year-old son, who mentioned that the Patriots lost the game he attended in the 2023 season. Brady reassured him, stating that New England “never lost” when he was the quarterback.

Having won six of his seven Super Bowls with the Patriots, Brady had a remarkable 20-year stint in New England, where he never experienced a losing season. After joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers post the 2019 season, Brady continued to make an impact on the golf course during the Pro-Am.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his partner Keith Mitchell had a strong second round, improving from their tied 51st position after the first round. They finished Round 2 at 11 under, tying for sixth overall at 14 under.

Allen, who had never beaten Brady before, expressed his satisfaction after the round and jokingly requested a signed jersey from the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

As the celebrities concluded their play, the professional golfers will continue to compete at Pebble Beach on Saturday for Round 3.

Belgian Thomas Detry, Swede Ludvig Åberg, and American Scottie Scheffler are tied for first place, entering the weekend’s action at 11-under through two rounds. Åberg and Scheffler showcased impressive performances on Friday, finishing seven-under and eight-under for the round, respectively.
