Gibson’s trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable. From competing on a supermini bike at the Ricky Carmichael Amateur Daytona Supercross (RCSX) event just last March, he swiftly transitioned to a 250F by summertime.
Making his mark on the circuit, Gibson participated in two events aboard a GasGas MC 250F before making his debut on a Husqvarna FC 250 at the Ironman National round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship.
In an impressive display of skill and determination, Gibson secured a commendable fifth overall, finishing 8-6 in his first bike race since the RCSX in Daytona.
Now, with the ink drying on the contract, Gibson officially joins the esteemed ranks of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna amateur team.
As he gears up to celebrate his 15th birthday on March 7, Gibson is poised to unveil his new affiliation adorned with the iconic gold Rockstar logo at the Daytona Supercross round of Supercross Futures this Saturday.
The Daytona SX round of the futures program marks the second leg of the 2024 season, following a thrilling opening race at Anaheim 2 SX in late January, where Cole Davies (GasGas) and Gavin Towers (Yamaha) captivated audiences with their electrifying performance.
