Reports suggest that the trend of American success is likely to continue at the 2024 Paris Olympics, based on the star-studded roster reportedly finalized by USA Basketball. Eleven out of the twelve roster spots have been filled, and every player selected is a seasoned NBA All-Star.
Among the notable names set to represent the United States this summer is Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors, LeBron James from the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns, Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics, Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers, Devin Booker from the Suns, Tyrese Haliburton from the Indiana Pacers, Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jrue Holiday from the Celtics, Bam Adebayo from the Miami Heat, and Anthony Davis from the Lakers.
LeBron James returned to the Olympic competition for the first time since 2012, where he played alongside Kobe Bryant to secure gold. Notably absent from the 2016 and 2020 squads were several top-tier players who have opted into the 2024 team, bolstering its star power.
