The Buffalo Bills continue their quest for a coveted Super Bowl victory, with head coach Sean McDermott emphasizing that star quarterback Josh Allen’s value shouldn’t be solely defined by postseason outcomes.
Reflecting on the team’s journey, McDermott conveyed to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero during the annual league meetings the substantial success they’ve achieved. He stressed that reducing their accomplishments to Josh’s postseason record would be overly simplistic.
Buffalo boasts an impressive five consecutive playoff appearances, clinching four straight AFC East titles. Despite this, their playoff journey has hit a roadblock, with only one AFC Championship Game appearance in 2021 and subsequent Divisional Round exits over the last three years.
While Allen has faced criticism for playoff struggles, McDermott maintains unwavering confidence in his quarterback’s ability to overcome obstacles.
