Quinshon Judkins, a rookie running back for the Cleveland Browns, was arrested on a domestic violence and battery charge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, over the weekend. The 21-year-old was taken into custody on Saturday, with the charge listed as “touch or strike/battery/domestic violence,” according to local police and arrest records.
At the time of the arrest, Judkins had not been granted a bond and remained in jail as of Saturday night. He is scheduled to appear in court for an initial hearing on Sunday morning. Further details surrounding the incident have not yet been disclosed by authorities.

Judkins’ Arrest Clouds Contract Status, Rookie Camp Amid Browns’ Ongoing Information Gathering
In response, the Cleveland Browns issued a brief statement saying they are “aware and gathering more details.” Judkins, who was drafted 36th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, is the only one of the Browns’ seven draft selections who has not yet signed his rookie contract.
Judkins previously played college football at both Ole Miss and Ohio State before entering the NFL. With Browns rookies expected to report to training camp on July 18, the timing of the arrest adds uncertainty to his professional debut and future with the team.
