Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been listed as day-to-day due to a sore right foot, according to coach Sean McDermott on Monday. The quarterback sustained the foot injury late in the second quarter of Buffalo’s 23-20 win over Cleveland, but did not experience any setbacks overnight.

Allen’s injury occurred when he scrambled in the backfield and appeared to catch his foot in the turf near the Buffalo 1-yard line. Officials ruled it a 22-yard sack split between Myles Garrett and Alex Wright. Allen managed to continue playing, gaining one yard on the next play before the Bills punted. He was examined immediately on the sideline and removed his right shoe, but tests on his foot came back negative.

In the game against Cleveland, Allen completed 12 of 19 passes for 130 yards, going 6 of 12 for 44 yards in the second half. He also added 17 rushing yards on seven carries, including two kneel-downs in the final minute. Despite his efforts, Allen was held without a touchdown pass or rushing score, marking only the third time this season that he finished a game without a touchdown.

Josh Allen Eyes Historic 300th Touchdown While Leading Bills Toward Playoff Berth

Allen is close to a major milestone, needing just one more touchdown to become the first NFL player to reach 300 before turning 30. He has not missed a start since his rookie season in 2018, aside from four games missed due to a throwing elbow injury. His current 120-game streak of consecutive regular-season starts is the longest active run among NFL quarterbacks.

The Bills have been strong this season, winning four straight games and five of their last six. With an 11-4 record, Buffalo is in position to clinch its seventh consecutive playoff berth, depending on outcomes from Houston or Indianapolis. Allen’s availability for the upcoming game against the Eagles will be crucial as Buffalo looks to maintain its momentum heading into the postseason.
