The Cincinnati Bengals have added veteran tight end Noah Fant to their roster, signing him to a one-year deal on Thursday. Fant, a former first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, brings experience and versatility to the Bengals’ offense as they look to bolster their tight end group for the upcoming season.
Fant has played in the NFL for six seasons, starting in 83 of his 95 games. Last season with the Seattle Seahawks, he recorded 48 receptions for 500 yards and one touchdown. Known for his athleticism and receiving ability, Fant adds depth to a position that has become increasingly important in modern offenses.

Fant Adds Depth to Bengals’ Tight End Group After Stints With Broncos, Seahawks
Fant began his NFL career with the Denver Broncos, where he spent his first three seasons. He was traded to the Seahawks in 2022 and made 42 starts during his tenure in Seattle. After being released in July, he explored his options, visiting the Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and New Orleans Saints before ultimately signing with Cincinnati.
He joins a competitive tight end group that includes veterans Mike Gesicki and Drew Sample. Gesicki, signed this offseason on a three-year, $25.5 million deal, is expected to be the Bengals’ top pass-catching option at tight end. Sample, meanwhile, is known for his run-blocking skills. Fant’s arrival adds another dynamic piece to this already well-rounded tight end room.
