Tight end C.J. Uzomah is getting another chance with the Eagles.

Uzomah didn’t make the team during training camp this summer, but the Eagles announced on Thursday that he has joined their practice squad. Defensive back Caden Sterns was let go from the squad to make room for him.

Uzomah played the last two seasons with the Jets, where he made 29 catches for 290 yards and three touchdowns. He started his career with seven seasons in Cincinnati, recording 163 catches for 1,591 yards and 16 touchdowns.

The active roster for the Eagles includes tight ends Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra, and Jack Stoll.
