According to a Dedham police report, the woman involved said she was Diggs’ personal chef for the season and was staying at his Massachusetts home. She alleged that a confrontation over money Diggs owed her escalated into physical violence, claiming he struck her and attempted to choke her. The report noted that she told police she had difficulty breathing but did not take photos of any alleged injuries.

Diggs And Barmore Deny Allegations While Patriots Prepare For Crucial Season Finale

Diggs’ attorney strongly rejected the claims, calling them unsubstantiated and motivated by an unresolved financial dispute. The attorney stated that Diggs looks forward to clearing his name in court. Meanwhile, the Patriots, who are 13-3, are preparing to face the Miami Dolphins in their regular-season finale, with a chance to secure the AFC’s top seed depending on other results.

In a separate case, Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore is also facing domestic assault charges stemming from an August incident involving his pregnant girlfriend. Police allege the dispute escalated into physical violence, resulting in bruises. Barmore declined to discuss the matter publicly, saying he is focused on football. His attorney, who also represents Diggs, has denied the allegations, and Barmore is scheduled for arraignment on February 3, 2026.
