Tyrese Haliburton made a crucial three-point play with just 1.6 seconds remaining, marking his first triple-double in a postseason game at home. This helped the Indiana Pacers secure a 121-118 overtime victory against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
With this win, Indiana now leads the best-of-seven series 2-1, with Game 4 scheduled for Sunday in Indianapolis. Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two-time league MVP, once again didn’t play for Milwaukee due to a strained left calf.
Haliburton had an impressive performance, contributing 18 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, Myles Turner achieved playoff career highs with 29 points and nine rebounds, aiding Indiana in securing their first consecutive postseason wins since winning three straight in the 2014 Eastern Conference semifinals.
This victory also marks the first time the Pacers have led in the playoffs since Game 3 of a first-round matchup against Cleveland in 2018. However, Indiana hasn’t won a playoff series since reaching the 2014 Eastern Conference finals.
