Kansas City Chiefs receiver Xavier Worthy has filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiancé, Tia Jones, accusing her of both physically abusing him and fabricating domestic violence claims. The lawsuit follows Worthy’s recent arrest on allegations of domestic abuse, though he was not ultimately charged. According to Worthy, Jones falsely accused him in an effort to extort valuable assets, including money, cars, and property.
Worthy claims the relationship deteriorated after he discovered that Jones had allegedly been unfaithful. Following this discovery, he repeatedly asked her to leave their shared home. Instead of leaving, Jones allegedly became destructive and violent, escalating tensions between them.

Worthy Accuses Ex-Fiancé of Theft, Vandalism, and False Abuse Allegations in Lawsuit
On March 7, Worthy alleges that Jones vandalized his game room, physically attacked him by scratching his face and pulling out his hair, and then fabricated a claim of abuse against him. Additionally, he accuses her of stealing or destroying over $150,000 worth of cash and personal belongings while he is in police custody.
In response to these alleged actions, Worthy is seeking more than $250,000 in damages from Jones. Regardless of whether she has the financial means to pay such a sum, Worthy may view the lawsuit as a means to deter her from any further harmful actions against him.
