Aleksander Barkov scored two goals and assisted on two others, while Sam Reinhart contributed with four assists as the Florida Panthers defeated the Boston Bruins 6-1 on Wednesday evening, leveling the second-round series at one game each.

Brandon Montour also had a goal and two assists, with Steven Lorentz, Gustav Forsling, and Eetu Luostarinen adding to the scoresheet. The Panthers managed to get four consecutive goals against Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman, leading to his replacement by Linus Ullmark in the third period, where Florida scored two more goals.

Sergei Bobrovsky, the Panthers’ goaltender, made 14 saves in the game. This win equaled Florida’s largest victory margin in a playoff game, matching their 6-1 triumph over Tampa Bay on April 29.

The lone goal for the Bruins came from Charlie Coyle. This defeat marked Boston’s first loss against Florida in six meetings this season. The series will now move to Boston for Game 3 on Friday night followed by Game 4 on Sunday night.
