Australian martial artist Danial Williams expressed his satisfaction with the partnership between ONE Championship and Seven Network, which allows fight fans in Australia to access top-tier martial arts content. He hailed this collaboration as a positive step forward and anticipates further advancements resulting from it.

The agreement between ONE and Seven Network, established early last year, marks a significant milestone as Australia’s leading broadcast television network now offers MMA and Muay Thai content to its audience, bolstering its reputation as a premier sports broadcaster in the region.

The partnership debuted with ONE Friday Fights 9 on March 17, 2023, marking the commencement of a new era for martial arts fans in Australia.

For Australian fighters like Danial Williams, this broadcasting deal provides an invaluable opportunity for their supporters to witness their performances on the global stage of ONE Championship. Reflecting on this development on the Southern Cross Combat podcast, Williams remarked:

“It’s hectic man, like geez, like you just wouldn’t expect it, right? But yeah, it’s still pretty surreal that ONE Championship is there. Like man, this is on free-to-air TV, all the martial arts. This is going in the right direction, you know, and it’s only better things to come.”

Australian fans will have the chance to see Danial Williams in action at ONE Fight Night 19, streaming on Prime Video on February 16 from Bangkok, Thailand. The 30-year-old Kao Sok Muay Thai/Scrappy MMA standout is set to face Filipino fighter Lito Adiwang in a strawweight MMA clash.

Williams is determined to break free from a three-fight losing streak, with his last two losses coming in world title fights.

ONE Fight Night 19 will be held at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium and can be viewed live and free during U.S. primetime for North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
