Fighters like Sean Strickland, a former champion, are known for their unabashed trash talk. However, Roman Dolidze, a fellow middleweight contender, does not appreciate such behavior.

In a recent media day appearance discussing his upcoming fight against Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Vegas 85, the Georgian fighter expressed his disapproval of trash-talking, labeling those who engage in it as child-like.

Roman Dolidze, currently ranked 8th in the middleweight division, did not shy away from sharing his thoughts ahead of his UFC Vegas 85 bout.

While acknowledging that he did not want to be disrespectful, he criticized fighters like Sean Strickland for acting like children whenever they had a microphone in their hands.

Dolidze emphasized that in his native country, people think twice before expressing their opinions, unlike the more impulsive approach taken by some fighters.

The 35-year-old middleweight contender stressed the importance of words having value, advocating for careful consideration before speaking.

According to Dolidze, if one’s words lack substance, others may not give them the attention or respect they desire.

He observed that some fellow contenders behave like children, making statements without regard for how their words might be perceived, clarifying that this applies to a few fighters and not everyone.

In contrast to some of his peers, Roman Dolidze maintains a composed demeanor and carefully selects his words.

As he prepares for his upcoming fight against Nassourdine Imavov following a loss in his last match against Marvin Vettori, Dolidze, once on a four-fight winning streak, aims to return to the victory column and prove his resilience in the middleweight division.
