Steve McManaman was not happy with Joe Gomez being used as an ‘opposite full-back’ in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Wolves. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were once again in a difficult situation in the Premier League, losing 1-0 to Wolves in less than 10 minutes.
Joe Gomez was always present from a defensive point of view, and Pedro Neto sent him to the cleaners during the match.

Klopp said the German player added that while the players around him looked confused, it was Quansah’s genuine talk that impressed him most in the final line.
