The Carolina Panthers have fortified their defense with the addition of defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson and linebacker Josey Jewell, according to sources familiar with the contracts.
Robinson’s deal spans three years and is valued at $22.5 million, while Jewell’s contract also extends over three years, totaling $22.75 million with $10 million guaranteed.
Jewell brings experience from his six seasons with the Denver Broncos, having started 58 games and recorded 108 tackles, three sacks, and three fumble recoveries in the previous season.
Meanwhile, Robinson, with eight seasons under his belt playing for the Lions, Rams, and Giants, adds his 74 career starts and 62 tackles from his tenure with the Giants last season.
