The Finals Update 1.5 Patch Notes introduce several noteworthy additions to the game, including a new solo PvP mode, fresh player outfits, and various quality-of-life improvements.
A standout feature of the Finals Update 1.5 is the introduction of the new Solo Bank It mode. In this mode, players engage in a solo battle against 11 opponents, all vying to locate 40,000 and deposit it at the station. This mode mirrors the existing Bank It mode but eliminates the support of a squad. The implementation of a solo queue Bank It 12-player arena mode is labeled as ‘experimental’ by the developers, addressing a need within the game community.
The update also encompasses Weapon Balance Changes, focusing on enhancing the gameplay experience. Notable adjustments include increasing the damage of the Flamethrower from 28 to 30, raising the LH1’s damage from 47 to 49, updating the recoil pattern of the M11 for improved control, and decreasing the damage per pellet of the SH1900 Shotgun from 12 to 10. The M60 sees a damage boost from 21 to 22, while the Riot Shield undergoes various updates, such as improved attack animations and hit sweeps. Issues related to the Riot Shield, like invisibility and blocking bullets while climbing a ladder, have been addressed. The SA1216’s firing speed has been corrected, and the SR-84 Sniper Rifle now features a new Scoped Zoom Sensitivity Multiplier setting. Throwing Knives receive visual enhancements with new trail effects, and the lifetime of knives stuck in metal surfaces has been shortened.
The Finals Update 1.5 is slated to go live on servers across all regions and platforms on Wednesday, January 17. The comprehensive changes aim to enrich the gaming experience for players.
