Linebacker Tae Davis joined the Panthers midway through last season and will continue with the team for the upcoming 2024 season.
The Panthers confirmed that Davis has agreed to a new contract, although the specific details were not disclosed. According to reports, it’s a one-year deal.
Davis began last season with the Falcons but was released in November after playing in eight games. Shortly after, he joined the Panthers and appeared in eight more games. During this time, he mainly contributed on special teams and made seven tackles.
Davis has previous experience with the Browns and Giants, and his skills in covering kicks may be more utilized this season due to changes in the league’s kickoff rules.
