Brock Bowers is expected to be chosen first among tight ends in this year’s draft. Ja’Tavion Sanders, who is considered one of the potential picks for the second spot, is scheduled to meet with two teams this week: the Panthers and the Browns.
Sanders played as a starter for Texas for the past two seasons, accumulating 99 catches for 1,295 yards and seven touchdowns during his time as a Longhorn.
Many anticipate him being selected in the second round of the draft later this month due to his strong performance in the passing game.
The Panthers currently have Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas as their top tight ends, while the Browns have David Njoku, who is coming off his most productive season yet.
