The Tennessee Titans wore Houston Oilers throwback uniforms for their final game of the season against the Texans on Sunday.

After losing their sixth straight game to end the season, the Titans will have the first pick in the draft for the first time since the Oilers era.

Tennessee finished with a 3-14 record, tying with the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants for the worst record in the league. The Titans earned the top spot in the draft order because they had the weakest strength of schedule among the three teams (.521).

This marks the first time the franchise has had the first pick since the Oilers selected running back Earl Campbell in 1978. The only other time they had the first pick was in 1973, when the Oilers chose defensive end John Matuszak.

The Cleveland Browns will select second, and the New York Giants will pick third. All three teams might be looking for a new franchise quarterback.

The top five picks also include the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars, both with a 4-13 record. The Patriots could have had the first pick if they had lost to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, as their strength of schedule was weaker than Tennessee’s. However, the Patriots won 23-16, defeating the playoff-bound Buffalo Bills.
