The lineup for UFC 300 continues to grow, with the addition of the tenth fight featuring a highly anticipated featherweight bout between Diego Lopes and Sodiq Yusuff.
UFC CEO Dana White revealed the exciting matchup through his Instagram story on Wednesday. Lopes is slated to return to the Octagon on April 13 at UFC 300, where he will face the 12th-ranked featherweight, Yusuff. The event is scheduled to unfold at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Diego Lopes, boasting a record of 23-6, is coming off a remarkable first-round KO victory over Pat Sabatini in November at UFC 295 held in Madison Square Garden. Prior to that, he secured his inaugural UFC win with a first-round submission triumph over Gavin Tucker.

In his promotional debut at UFC 285, Lopes faced Movsar Evloev on short notice, engaging in a closely contested battle where he narrowly missed out on a couple of submission attempts.
On the other side, Sodiq Yusuff (13-3) is looking to bounce back after a five-round decision loss to Edson Barboza in the main event of a Fight Night card in October.
Before the setback, Yusuff claimed a first-round submission victory over Don Shainis and defeated Alex Caceres by decision, returning to the win column following a previous decision loss to Arnold Allen.
Currently ranked 12th in the featherweight division, Yusuff holds an impressive 6-2 record within the UFC, with notable wins over fighters such as Andre Fili and Sheymon Moraes.
The announcement of Lopes vs. Yusuff for UFC 300 closely follows Dana White’s revelation of the signing of Kayla Harrison, who is set to make her debut on the same card against Holly Holm.
With the addition of this featherweight clash, the UFC 300 fight card now includes:
