France’s Cyril Baille is happy to play in his first Rugby World Cup after coming back from an injury. He is one of 12 new players chosen by coach Fabien Galthie for France’s upcoming game against Namibia in Marseille.
Jonathan Danty, who plays in the center, will be playing in the World Cup for the first time after coming back from an injury. Only three players from the team that nearly won against Uruguay last week will be playing again. Cyril Baille is back in the team for France after getting injured in a game with Scotland last month.
“We did a lot of medical work with the staff and the trainers,” said the 30-year-old who plays for Toulouse. “My friends helped me a lot, we worked well. Physically, I feel good. I know I need a little rhythm. I want to be back with the group and am very happy to be on the field tomorrow.
“I started practicing again this week, and it went well. We did what was important to make me feel great, and I am very happy about starting tomorrow. I am more excited than worried.”
“France can possibly win their third game in a row against Namibia, which has given up 123 points and allowed 18 tries in their first two matches.
“But Galthie warned, ‘Namibia has earned its spot in international rugby, and their commitment when they represent their national team is unquestionable.’

Handre Pollard Will Not be Playing in South Africa vs. Ireland Match
Handre Pollard, who plays as a fly-half, will not play for South Africa in the Rugby World Cup match against Ireland in Paris. But they believe lock Eben Ezebeth will be available for the same game unless something unexpected happens.
Pollard was not in the first group of players selected for the tournament due to a calf problem but was later asked to join the team due to an injury to another player, Malcolm Marx.
The 29-year-old, who was a key figure in his country’s 2019 World Cup win, returned from injury on Friday night and came on as a substitute midway through the second half of Leicester’s 18-14 Gallagher Premiership win over Sale.
“He definitely won’t be in this team unless there are some injuries,” Springboks director of rugby Rassie Erasmus said. “He joined us today and played for Leicester for the first time in 14 or 15 weeks on Friday.”
