Chase Elliott’s recent triumph at Texas Motor Speedway puts him within reach of a remarkable milestone in NASCAR’s modern era, Racing Insights reports.

Elliott’s latest victory marks his 13th Cup win, all achieved at distinct tracks. This accomplishment leaves him just one win shy of matching the modern-era record, a feat currently shared by Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson, both having secured 14 consecutive victories at different venues.

The legendary Richard Petty holds the all-time NASCAR record with an astounding 21 consecutive wins at various tracks, primarily achieved during the 1967 season, with the streak concluding in 1968.

Hamlin’s impressive streak commenced at the fall Texas race in 2010, extending through the Richmond regular-season finale in 2016. Meanwhile, Larson’s streak started with his triumph at the second Michigan race in 2017, continuing until his victory in Fontana, California, in 2022.

Elliott’s remarkable streak commenced with his victory in the 2020 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, showcasing his versatility across different tracks.

As the Cup Series heads to Talladega Superspeedway and Dover in the upcoming weekends, Elliott aims to capitalize on his past successes at these venues, both of which contributed to his ongoing streak.

The race at Kansas Speedway on May 5 presents Elliott with the opportunity to equal Hamlin and Larson’s impressive record of 14 consecutive wins at different tracks.
