LeBron James, Bronny’s famous father, attended the NBA draft combine on Wednesday to watch his son play. He arrived wearing a black hoodie and sat in the second row to watch Bronny’s final scrimmage of the combine.

LeBron, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, along with his wife and daughter, were regular attendees at Bronny’s games during his time at Southern California last season.

LeBron has expressed interest in playing alongside his son, but after completing his 21st season, he might become a free agent if he opts out of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he mentioned after a season-ending loss to Denver that he hasn’t thought much about teaming up with his son lately.

Bronny James is contemplating whether to turn pro after one season in college. He declared for the draft and entered the transfer portal on April 5.

Initially, Bronny was one of the nation’s top prospects when he decided to stay close to home and committed to USC last May. However, his plans were disrupted when he suffered a cardiac arrest due to a congenital heart defect during a basketball workout at USC in late July.

He underwent surgery and missed the first month of the season. Throughout his time at USC, he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 25 games.
