The Patriots have the third pick in this week’s draft. They’re likely to choose a quarterback after the Bears pick Caleb Williams and the Commanders take another one. Trading down might mean missing out on a top player they need.

Still, the Patriots are open to trade offers. According to the Boston Herald, Eliot Wolf has gotten calls and offers for the third pick, but they haven’t been good enough.

They’re waiting for a better one. It would take a huge offer for them to give up the third pick.

They’ll have a choice of two out of three quarterbacks: Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, or J.J. McCarthy.

The Patriots traded Mac Jones and signed Jacoby Brissett, who could be a temporary starter or a mentor for the new quarterback.
