U.S. midfielder Weston McKennie is facing the probability of missing out on the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League finals, set to take place at the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium next month, following a dislocated left shoulder.

The unfortunate injury occurred during McKennie’s participation in a match for Juventus this past Sunday.

Despite his commendable performance of assisting on two goals in the Italian league encounter, McKennie was forced to exit the game against Frosinone just three minutes before the final whistle, due to an awkward landing that resulted in the dislocation.

Adding to the team’s woes, McKennie’s Juventus teammate, Adrien Rabiot, also suffered an injury to his left foot during the same match.

McKennie holds a crucial role in the United States national team, making his potential absence a significant concern as the team gears up to face Jamaica in the Nations League semifinals on March 21 at AT&T Stadium. The final is slated to take place three days later.

In the other semifinal matchup, Panama is set to square off against Mexico.

As of now, Juventus has stated that it is still in the process of evaluating the timeframes for the recovery of both players, leaving uncertainty looming over their availability for the upcoming crucial fixtures.
