The Basketball Africa League (BAL) has revealed a roster of 52 players representing 11 countries for the 2024 BAL Nile Conference group stage. Taking place at the Hassan Mostafa Indoor Sports Complex in Cairo, Egypt, from April 19 to April 27, this event promises an exciting display of talent from across Africa, Europe, and the U.S.

Among the participants are four teams, boasting a collective experience that includes NBA and NBA G League players, former NCAA Division I athletes, prospects from NBA Academy Africa, and seasoned veterans of FIBA competitions.

The tournament kicks off with a clash between first-time contenders Al Ahly Ly from Libya and Bangui Sporting Club from the Central African Republic. Following this opener, the defending champions, Al Ahly from Egypt, take on City Oilers from Uganda in a highly anticipated matchup, setting the stage for an electrifying competition.
