Charges of domestic battery against Colts tight end Drew Ogletree have been dropped, according to recent reports.

Court documents filed in Hendricks County revealed the dismissal of Ogletree’s charges with prejudice, as reported by Fox 59 in Indianapolis.

Ogletree had been facing two felony charges related to domestic battery, including one count of domestic battery in the presence of a child under 16 and another count of domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.

The charges stemmed from an incident in December when a woman alleged that Ogletree had “body slammed” her during an argument. Police reported that Ogletree admitted to pushing her to the ground.

Following his arrest, the NFL placed Ogletree on the commissioner’s exempt list, rendering him ineligible to participate in any team activities for the remainder of the season. Any involvement in the Colts’ offseason program would require his removal from the list.

Ogletree, a sixth-round draft pick in 2022, missed his entire rookie season due to a torn ACL. In 2023, he played in 12 games with nine starts before his season was cut short following his arrest.
