Logan Ryan, a defensive back, has decided to retire from professional football. He announced his retirement on social media on Tuesday morning. Ryan described his 11-year journey in the NFL as a mix of good times and tough moments.
Some of the highlights of his career occurred during his initial four years in the league. Ryan was drafted by the Patriots in the third round in 2013, and he contributed to their victories in two Super Bowls during his time with the team.
After leaving the Patriots in 2017, Ryan spent three seasons with the Titans. During this period, he intercepted Tom Brady’s last pass as a Patriot and scored a touchdown in a playoff win against his former team.
Ryan then played for the Giants for two years before rejoining Brady in Tampa Bay in 2022. He concluded his career by reaching the Super Bowl as a member of the 49ers last season.
Throughout his career, Ryan participated in 154 regular-season games and 19 playoff games across various teams. He recorded 861 tackles, 21 interceptions, 14 sacks, 17 forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries in a total of 173 appearances.
