The Arizona Cardinals faced a tough injury setback when Marvin Harrison Jr. had to leave last Sunday’s Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He suffered a head injury in the second quarter and was ruled out for the rest of the game due to a concussion.

However, after successfully going through the NFL’s concussion protocol this week, the rookie wide receiver has been taken off the injury report and will play in the Cardinals’ “Monday Night Football” game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Harrison Jr. participated fully in practice on Friday, removing the yellow non-contact jersey as he prepared for his return on Monday night. He was completely cleared from the injury report on Saturday.

Harrison Jr., who was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, has made 17 catches for 279 yards and four touchdowns in his early NFL career with the Cardinals. His best performance this season came in Week 2 when he recorded four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cardinals are starting the 2024 NFL season with a 2-4 record, having lost to the Bills, Lions, Commanders, and Packers. They did secure a hard-fought win against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5. Harrison Jr. will aim to get his season back on track when he takes the field for the Cardinals’ game against the Chargers at 9 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium.
