Arsenal Considering January 2024 Move for Striker Earning £215,000 Weekly

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are considering signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the upcoming January transfer window.

According to TMW, Arsenal could try to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in January 2024.

Arsenal Reportedly Eyeing Juventus Forward Dusan Vlahovic

According to an Italian news source, Arsenal were interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic in the summer of 2022, but the Serbian player declined the move to the Gunners due to their absence from the UEFA Champions League at that time.

However, Arsenal has now clinched a position in the UEFA Champions League for this season and is committed to competing for the Premier League title.

TMW reports that the Gunners are in search of a striker to complement Gabriel Jesus, and they may approach Juventus for the 23-year-old Vlahovic, who reportedly earns £215,000 per week when the January transfer window opens.

The Italian news outlet’s report also claims that Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, is personally interested in bringing Vlahovic to the Emirates Stadium in January.

Securing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in January 2024 may pose challenges for Arsenal.

From our perspective, it might be difficult for Arsenal to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus during the January transfer window.

It might be difficult for Arsenal to get Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus during the January transfer window.

Even though every player can be convinced by the right offer, it seems doubtful that Juventus would be open to losing one of their star players in the middle of the Serie A season, especially if they are in the Serie A title race.

However, It is unusual for a top-tier team like Juventus to sell a crucial player like Vlahovic during the ongoing season.

Arsenal will likely have to wait until the following summer’s transfer window if they want to secure the services of the striker.

The Serbian international has made three appearances for Juventus so far this Serie A season, scoring twice and assisting one other goal.

Bukayo Saka Hails Arsenal Teammate’s Remarkable Improvement

Bukayo Saka, an Arsenal player who also represents England, offers high respect for Declan Rice, a teammate.

Rice has improved since transferring to Arsenal from West Ham United during the summer transfer window, according to Saka during an interview on Football Focus on BBC One.

Bukayo Saka Applauds Arsenal and England Companion Declan Rice

Saka has described Declan Rice as “Incredible”. The 24-year-old England international joined Arsenal in the summer of 2023 from West Ham United, a fellow London and Premier League team.

Declan Rice has rapidly made a remarkable impression at Arsenal and has already become an essential player in manager Mikel Arteta’s squad.

In the present season, the English midfielder has scored one goal in four Premier League matches for the Gunners. Saka had this to say about Rice: “In my opinion, he appears to have improved even more. He’s truly unbelievable.

Declan Rice: An Important Asset for Both Arsenal and the English National Team

We Believe Declan Rice Is among the best midfielders around, Playing Pivotal Roles for Arsenal and the English National Team. Rice’s Progression and Evolution as a Player Has Been Very Significant.

Regardless of his primary role as a defensive midfielder, the English international also possesses the ability to lead the team’s offensive charge, presenting a formidable challenge to opposition defenses.

Rice has gained valuable experience with consistent first-team appearances, contributing remarkably to his progression. In his Premier League career so far, the midfielder has featured in 208 matches, providing 11 goals and ten assists to his team.

It’s worth noting that Rice is versatile and capable of playing in a defensive role as well. At just 24 years old, Rice holds the promise of additional improvement, potentially elevating him to the level of a truly elite midfielder in the years ahead.

Jay Bothroyd Expresses Strong Interest in Seeing Ivan Toney Join Arsenal

Interestingly, Arsenal has been linked with the English national team striker. According to a report from The Times in August 2023, Arsenal could consider making an offer for Toney during the forthcoming January transfer window.

Currently, the 27-year-old is under suspension and is set to return to action only in January 2024. The Times added that Brentforth wanted £80 million for the England international.

Bothroyd demonstrates his thoughts on Toney during an interview with Sky Sports, stating, “He has a remarkable goal-scoring record, possesses great physicality, and performs excellently as the frontman.

“If he were to join any of the top-tier clubs, he could easily net a minimum of 20 Premier League goals annually, and he’s particularly proficient in taking penalties.

“I hold a strong desire for Arsenal to secure his signature.”

Arsenal May Encounter Challenges in Securing Ivan Toney’s Transfer in January 2024

We believe that Arsenal might face significant challenges in their pursuit of Ivan Toney from fellow London and Premier League competitors, Brentford, during the January transfer window.

First of all, Ivan Toney would have been inactive for several months, raising questions about his desire to depart from Brentford under such circumstances.

Secondly, Brentford may be hesitant to let their star striker leave in the mid-season. In January, the Bees could be in contention for the European spots in the Premier League standings, possibly prompting them to delay Toney’s sale until the coming summer.

Furthermore, Arsenal might be unwilling to meet an £80 million price tag for a striker who hasn’t been in action in the current season.

Jude Bellingham Impressed by Liverpool’s £119,000 Weekly Salary Offer to Star Player

Jude Bellingham has shown his admiration of Real Madrid teammate Aurelien Tchouameni, a player who was rumored to be a player Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool reportedly attempted to sign during the recent summer transfer window.

The information below shows that Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid midfielder, has applauded his teammate Aurelien Tchouameni’s performance while representing France. Tchouameni has been linked with a potential move to Liverpool.

Applause for Liverpool’s Summer Transfer Prospect Aurelien Tchouameni

France defeated the Republic of Ireland by 2-0 in the European Championship on Thursday. Tchouameni scored the first goal of the game for France in the 19th minute with a magnificent strike from outside the 18-yard box.

The 23-year-old Real Madrid star midfielder started the game in a two-man-defensive midfield system. And it was a very impressive performance from the £119,000-a-week star player. The French international even came close to scoring a second goal for France. Aaurelien Tchouameni dictated the game’s pace and displayed excellence in both defensive challenges and tackles.

During his time on the pitch, the ex-AS Monaco player registered three shots on goal, completed two crucial passes, maintained an impressive pass completion rate of 96.2%, recorded 126 touches, contributed with four tackles and two interceptions, and delivered a single cross.

Tchouameni’s performance showed why Liverpool were so interested in signing the Madrid star during the summer transfer window.

Liverpool Tried to Secure Tchouameni’s Signature

In June, Defensa Central reported that Real Madrid rejected a €60 million offer from Liverpool for the 23-year-old star. It was also reported that Chelsea was also interested in signing the French international, but the player decided to stay at Los Blancos.

Tchouameni has played in four games for Real Madrid in La Liga this season. Carlo Ancelotti’s team has set their sights on winning both the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League this season.

Real Madrid Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni’s Position Regarding a Possible Move to Liverpool

Liverpool have already missed out on the signing of Ecuador international midfielder Moises Caicedo to Premier League rivals Chelsea and were looking at Tchouameni as a potential alternative.

However, Madrid sees the young midfielder as a key player of the team and would not consider his transfer to any other club, according to the report by The Athletic, which also reported that the £119,000-a-week French international himself does not intend to leave Los Blancos for Liverpool or any other club.

It is not at all surprising that Tchouameni doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid for Liverpool in this summer transfer window. Similarly, it is not surprising that even Real Madrid doesn’t want to sell the young French international this summer.

Real Madrid, who frequently win La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, are perhaps the biggest club in the entire world. It is highly doubtful that Tchouameni would give up on being a success at the Santiago Bernabeu after just one season since he joined Madrid from AS Monaco in the summer of 2022.

The 23-year-old might not have had the best season last year, but he is still a very young player and is continuously growing and improving. There is a high probability that Tchouameni will excel for Madrid this season and establish himself as an important member of the team.

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Madrid, has high hopes for the Frenchman.

Tottenham Player’s Veiled Critique of Antonio Conte: Describes Improved Training Environment

Dejan Kulusevski, a winger for Tottenham Hotspur, recently stated his preference for training with Ange Postecoglou over Antonio Conte.

He claims that Postecoglou’s offensive approach has created a more fun environment at their training sessions at Hotspur Way.

Dejan Kulusevski Praises Ange Postecoglou’s Impact on Tottenham Training Environment

Dejan Kulusevski, the 23-year-old Tottenham player, has shared his perspective on training under Ange Postecoglou in comparison to Antonio Conte.

He mentioned, “I’m not implying that our previous approach was entirely wrong, but it was fundamentally different. I believe it’s now more enjoyable to come to practice each day, knowing that our focus is on ball play, attacking, and moving forward rather than back.”

Tottenham has had a solid start to the season, so whatever training techniques Postecoglou is using seem to be working. The North London team has now defeated Burnley, Bournemouth, and Manchester United to go into second position.

With just one setback—a 2-2 draw against Brentford at the start of the season—Tottenham’s season has been brilliant. Fans are undoubtedly happy with the team’s present performance, even though their early elimination from the Carabao Cup implies they still have room for improvement.

Tottenham has the players for an attacking brand of football.

Kulusevski, Son Heung-min, and James Maddison are all part of Tottenham’s plethora of offensive talent.

As indicated by his previous tenure at Celtic, when he favored an exciting attacking approach over a defensive one, Postecoglou is ready to take advantage of Tottenham’s offensive strength.

Although the long-term viability of his strategy is still debatable, its effectiveness right now is undeniable. But the team’s chances might be further improved by the signing of a great striker, either in January or the following summer.

Postecoglou might not be considering such a move right now, though, given the just-closed transfer window.

Transfer News: Liverpool Allegedly Pursued Manchester United’s Target, Claims Club President

Liverpool attempted to secure the services of Fluminense midfielder Andre, but the Brazilian club firmly rejected their advances. Fluminense indicated that Liverpool should abandon their pursuit of midfielder Andre Trindade during the summer, but they expressed a willingness to consider a potential deal in January.

According to Mario Bittencourt, the president of Fluminense, Liverpool contacted him about setting up a transfer for Andre, as revealed by Lance.

Bittencourt alluded to Liverpool’s “chief executive,” although it’s more likely that he meant sporting director Jorg Schmadtke than CEO Billy Hogan.

Andre can leave in 2024, according to an existing deal, according to Bittencourt, who emphasized that doing so during the summer is not an option.

When Liverpool asked about the situation, they were told to either seal Andre’s signing for January or start talks in December.

“There is an agreement between us, with the player and representative, that he would stay until the end of the year, and they comply fully and with the greatest peace of mind. What they did is work as a representative of the athlete that he is: all the surveys that come in they communicate to Fluminense,” Bittencourt stated.

“In the case of Liverpool, I go even further. Liverpool’s Chief Executive contacted me directly. And I replied to him: “My friend, I don’t sell players now, and I don’t deliver now. If you want to buy now and take it in January, we can start talking, or if you want to wait until December, we’ll talk in December,” he added.

Fluminense Unwilling to Part Ways with Andre Until January, Reveals Club President

The Copa Libertadores is the main reason Fluminense is keeping Andre until January.

The Copa Libertadores, CONMBEOL’s version of the Champions League, extends its season until the end of the European transfer window and concludes in November, which influences Fluminense’s choice.

Fluminense, who won against Olimpia of Paraguay in the quarterfinals, is still competing. They are now engaged in a two-leg matchup with Brazilian rivals Internacional, with a chance to advance to the championship game, either Boca Juniors or Palmeiras on the line.

Andre’s participation in Fluminense’s effort to win the Copa Libertadores is their priority; therefore, losing him before the semi-finals was never an option, regardless of any interest in signing him.

Manchester United Express Interest in Signing Andre

Andre has been a target for Liverpool for about four years, according to sources from Brazil’s O Globo.

However, the Reds strengthened their midfield by signing Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch during the most recent transfer window.

As a result, Liverpool may decide to put Andre’s pursuit on hold in the forthcoming January transfer window in favor of other objectives.

Even though Andre is still a highly sought-after prospect, interesting things have happened about his possible transfer.

In August, Brazilian journalist Emmanuel Luiz said that Manchester United had made inquiries about him. Luiz did add, though, that Andre had already made a deal with Liverpool and that United’s interest stalled there because of it.

Additionally, there have been speculations from Brazil that West Ham has shown interest in bringing Andre to the Premier League. The road to Liverpool currently seems a little murky, but there is still a chance that the Reds might eventually find themselves up against Andre in the Premier League.

“Arsenal Star Elevates My Game,” Eddie Nketiah Praises Teammate’s Impact on His Performance

Eddie Nketiah noted that Gabriel Jesus, who he calls “fantastic,” has boosted his abilities as they compete against one another in training sessions at Arsenal. The young Hale-End prodigy was given his first call-up to the England team, and he revealed during a press conference that his rivalry with Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal is friendly and encouraging.

Eddie Nketiah had assumed the role of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team’s primary striker when Gabriel Jesus was injured and later returned after recovering. Nketiah’s physical growth during this time has been noted by Ian Wright.

Nketiah has scored twice in four Premier League games, but his strike partner made a big impression on Sunday’s match against Manchester United by scoring a sensational goal after coming off the bench.

Arteta’s next challenge will be choosing who to start, given that both of his number 9s are healthy and prepared. Following the break for international play, Arsenal will face a tough trip to Goodison Park, a notoriously difficult location for the London team. Only Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber have fitness issues, but overall, the team has no fitness concerns.

With Nketiah and Jesus both eligible for this crucial match after the break, the fight for the striker position adds an intriguing dimension to Arsenal’s lineup decisions.

Striker Showdown: Nketiah vs. Jesus

Gabriel Jesus is a brilliant player and a nice person off the pitch, according to Eddie Nketiah, who praised Jesus when asked how Gabriel Jesus has influenced his growth as a player. Mutual respect and friendship underpin their partnership.

Nketiah admitted that playing against a player of Jesus’ caliber had been advantageous for them both. They are all working towards the same objective of scoring goals to help the team succeed. They are motivated to keep improving their performance by the competition throughout practice and competition. Nketiah made it clear that their rivalry is amicable and good.

He also emphasized the mutual respect they have gained, acknowledging that sometimes they will play together and other times one of them will start. Regardless of the roster, their united goal is still to see Arsenal thrive, and they continue to support one another wholeheartedly.

Nketiah voiced hope for the forthcoming campaign, saying that he and Gabriel Jesus would have excellent seasons as a result of their healthy rivalry, which will ultimately help Arsenal. They constitute a strong team on the pitch because of their friendship and same goals.

Gabriel Jesus Remains Arsenal’s Leading Figure

Eddie Nketiah’s contract was even extended by Arsenal at the age of 24, demonstrating their strong faith in him. However, Gabriel Jesus is chosen as the primary option whenever both players are present. His higher capacity to improve the performance of the entire team accounts for this preference.

Jesus is exceptional at linking plays, dribbling, and creating space for his teammates, despite Nketiah’s claim that he specializes in finishing. Gabriel Jesus has a clear advantage in these areas, which makes him a useful asset for Arsenal in terms of fostering team unity and generating scoring possibilities.

Aston Villa’s Last-Minute Pursuit of £73M Player Thwarted by Manager’s Resistance: Reports Journalist

Jadon Sancho, a winger for Manchester United, caught Aston Villa’s late attention during the most recent transfer window.

Jadon Sancho is rumored to have been a player Chelsea was considering during the open transfer market, but it also appears that Aston Villa was interested in the 23-year-old.

Ben Jacobs reported that Aston Villa’s interest in Jadon Sancho arose at the end of the summer transfer window, whereas Tottenham Hotspots considered signing him earlier during the window.

Also, The manager, Erik ten Hag, was not planning to sell the English international, which made it seem difficult for the Midlands club to reach an agreement with the team, according to the journalist.

The Daily Mail claims that Chelsea thought about signing Sancho for Stamford Bridge but ultimately decided to sign Cole Palmer from Manchester City.

Although Aston Villa were not able to add Sancho to their squad in the end, like Chelsea, they were still able to reinforce their attack after recruiting Moussa Diaby and Nicolo Zaniolo.

Jadon Sancho could become available.

While Erik Ten Hag may have hesitated to let go of Jadon Sancho during this summer transfer window, there is still a possibility of a different outcome in the next transfer window, which could potentially be beneficial for Aston Villa.

There seems to be a certain issue between the manager of the Red Devils, i.e., Manchester United, and Jadon Sancho at this moment, following a response from the former Borussia Dortmund star to his coach’s statement regarding his lackluster training performance.

“I won’t allow people to conduct entirely false statements against me. I have conducted myself very well in training this week,” Jadon Sancho, who was bought by Manchester United for £73 million, tweeted as a response to Ten Hag’s assertion.

If these issues aren’t resolved, there’s a high possibility that Aston Villa could consider pursuing Sancho next year.

Tottenham Hotspur wanted Jadon Sancho this summer.

Sancho might be departing from Manchester United in the near future, and he is bound to attract a lot of attention in the market.

The 23-year-old English forward hasn’t quite lived up to expectations at Manchester United, but 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 Borussia Dortmund may still lead some managers to believe they can help Sancho regain his form. One of the clubs likely to be taking the issue into consideration is Tottenham Hotspur, which expressed interest over the summer.

The Daily Star reported that Tottenham Hotspurs considered signing Jadon Sancho in June.

Only a few days later, The Times reported that Tottenham had expressed interest in signing Sancho, and the Daily Mail suggested that a sum of £45 million might be necessary. The Camberwell-born winger would have had a way out of Old Trafford and an opportunity to go back to London.

Jadon Sancho Against Tottenham Hotspurs (Credits: Getty Images)

Ten Hag doesn’t appear to like Sancho, and a new beginning somewhere else might have allowed him to find his form again in time for the EURO 2024. A departure in January wouldn’t come as a surprise because it currently seems like Ten Hag has no immediate intentions to use Jadon Sancho.

Tottenham may think about renewing their interest, but they recently completed a transfer of Brennan Johnson, another winger. Even though Tottenham has recently focused on signing homegrown players, Sancho’s option with the club currently appears to be tricky.

Ivan Perisic’s departure may determine whether Tottenham’s interest returns, but even then, Sancho’s future is still very much uncertain.

Danny Mills Praises Arsenal’s Potential Improvement Thanks to 24-Year-Old Talent

Former Premier League defender Danny Mills believes that Arsenal’s performance will further improve with the addition of Declan Rice.

Rice made the switch from West Ham United to Arsenal in the summer and has already demonstrated his value at the Emirates. His recent goal in Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United showcased his immediate impact.

According to Mills, Rice’s presence is expected to bolster Arsenal’s overall performance, suggesting a positive trajectory for the team with him on board.

On September 6, 2023, Mills told Sky Sports News that he expects both the Gunners and their record signing, Declan Rice, to play better.

What has Danny Mills said about Declan Rice

Danny Mills, a former player for Manchester City and Leeds United, spoke highly of Declan Rice when discussing his recent selection to the England national team, calling Rice “absolutely superb.”

Mills emphasized the lack of holding midfield alternatives available to the English team, pointing out that despite his former success, Kalvin Phillips hasn’t been getting as much playing time at Manchester City. This circumstance emphasizes Rice’s importance in the role even more.

Rice’s future is bright, according to Mills, who anticipates that he will keep getting better and help Arsenal perform well. Rice has constantly excelled in the middle of the pitch since joining the north London club, displaying his abilities and versatility.

Rice’s selection in the England squad is evidence of his rising stature as a holding midfielder of the highest caliber, and according to Mills, his involvement will not only be advantageous for Arsenal but also improve the limited choices the national team has in that crucial position.

Declan Rice’s increasing reputation as a top-tier defensive midfielder is highlighted by his selection for the England team. According to Danny Mills, Rice’s impact would not only improve Arsenal’s play but also the few options the national team has for this key position.

Declan Rice in the team will help Arsenal improve

Arsenal had already undergone Arteta’s transformation into a top football team, even without Rice.

When it came to winning the Premier League the season before, Arsenal was extremely close, falling just five points short of champions Manchester City.

The skills of players like Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Odegaard, who formed a solid core under the direction of their Spanish manager, were largely responsible for their success.

Declan Rice, a former captain of West Ham, has joined Arsenal, and the club now seems prepared to advance. The addition of Rice is considered a big step forward for the Gunners, strengthening their team and increasing the likelihood that they will continue on their upward trajectory.

“20 minutes at Liverpool”: Paul Merson makes fun of a Chelsea player who makes £100,000 a week

London – The Former English footballer said that he hasn’t seen the Chelsea star playing well since he played against Liverpool last season.

Paul Merson believes that Mudryk has not done anything worth remembering since his game against Liverpool last season. Merson said this while discussing Hojlund’s performance against Arsenal this past weekend.

In January 2023, Mudryk made a strong impression for Chelsea against Liverpool. In the January transfer window, the winger from Ukraine joined Chelsea. When he entered the game as a substitute in the 55th minute against the Reds, the £100,000-per-week (The Independent) winger made his Blues debut. Chelsea and Liverpool’s Premier League game concluded in a scoreless tie.

Paul Merson has brutally ridiculed Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk while judging Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund after watching him against Arsenal last weekend.

Photo by Chelsea FC/Chelsea FC via Getty Images

Merson told Sky Sports: “Rasmus Hojlund looked good – a right handful. But that was for 20 minutes. “I saw Mykhailo Mudryk for 20 minutes at Liverpool in January, and I haven’t seen him since.”

Keeping a positive outlook on Mykhailo Mudryk

In regards to Mykhailo Mudryk, we do concur with Paul Merson. The Chelsea winger hasn’t had much of an impact on the team yet. For the Blues, the winger has made 18 Premier League games.

In those games, the Ukrainian player has only put up two assists and no goals.

That is not a good thing. But let’s not overlook the fact that Mudryk is only 22. Furthermore, he transferred to Chelsea amid a season during which the squad was underperforming, and its manager had been replaced.
Mudryk could advance and get better under Mauricio Pochettino, the former head coach of Tottenham Hotspur.

Mudryk is a reasonably young player who is still evolving, after all.
