Dejan Kulusevski, the 23-year-old Tottenham player, has shared his perspective on training under Ange Postecoglou in comparison to Antonio Conte.
He mentioned, “I’m not implying that our previous approach was entirely wrong, but it was fundamentally different. I believe it’s now more enjoyable to come to practice each day, knowing that our focus is on ball play, attacking, and moving forward rather than back.”
Tottenham has had a solid start to the season, so whatever training techniques Postecoglou is using seem to be working. The North London team has now defeated Burnley, Bournemouth, and Manchester United to go into second position.
With just one setback—a 2-2 draw against Brentford at the start of the season—Tottenham’s season has been brilliant. Fans are undoubtedly happy with the team’s present performance, even though their early elimination from the Carabao Cup implies they still have room for improvement.

Although the long-term viability of his strategy is still debatable, its effectiveness right now is undeniable. But the team’s chances might be further improved by the signing of a great striker, either in January or the following summer.
Postecoglou might not be considering such a move right now, though, given the just-closed transfer window.
