Barcelona is reportedly eyeing FC Copenhagen winger Roony Bardghji for a summer transfer.
Bardghji has caught the attention during his tenure at Copenhagen, having entered the Danish club’s youth ranks from Malmo in July 2020. Graduating from Copenhagen’s academy in 2022, he has amassed 72 senior appearances, netting 15 goals and providing an assist.
The 18-year-old’s stellar performances have attracted interest from various clubs across Europe. According to Fichajes.net, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona are among those keenly interested, with Barcelona poised to make a move for him soon.
Barcelona is keen not to repeat the missed opportunity they faced with Lucas Bergvall in the January transfer window. The Swedish midfielder opted to join Tottenham Hotspur from Djurgårdens rather than Camp Nou and is set to make the move to the north London side in the summer.
To avoid a similar scenario with Bardghji, who has bagged 11 goals in 31 appearances for Copenhagen this season, Barcelona is eager to secure his services. His contract with the Danish side runs until December 2025, with his market value estimated at €9 million according to Transfermarkt.
