Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka expressed his belief that his team could have capitalized even further in their dominant 6-0 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday (February 11).

The Gunners took control early in the game, with William Saliba’s opener in the 32nd minute setting the tone. Saka then doubled their advantage from the penalty spot just before halftime, with Gabriel Magalhaes and Leandro Trossard adding goals to secure a commanding lead by the break.

Saka later completed his brace in the second half, and Declan Rice contributed to the scoreline as Arsenal closed the gap to just two points behind league leaders Liverpool (54 points) after 24 matches.

Reflecting on the match, the 22-year-old spoke to Sky Sports (via BBC) about the team’s mindset:

“At 4-0 up in the first half, we still felt there were more opportunities to score. We were determined and went after our chances aggressively.”
Regarding his personal milestone of scoring his 50th goal for Arsenal, Saka added:

“I’m thrilled to achieve that milestone. Although I missed some chances, it’s a significant achievement that I’m proud of.”
Saka’s impressive record includes 51 goals and 53 assists in 210 appearances across various competitions for Arsenal. This season alone, he has contributed 13 goals and 13 assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.
