Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland

Dimitar Berbatov has given his prediction for the upcoming clash between Manchester City and Everton at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, February 10. The former Manchester United striker believes that Manchester City will emerge victorious with a convincing 3-0 win.

Manchester City has been showcasing exceptional form lately, especially with the return of key players like Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland from injury. Their recent winning streak of five matches has seen them take control of their fate once again.

Sitting second in the table with 49 points, just two points behind league leaders Liverpool but with a game in hand, Manchester City has the opportunity to temporarily claim the top spot if they secure a victory against Everton, with Liverpool playing later in the day.

Meanwhile, Everton finds themselves in a challenging position, currently occupying 18th place with 19 points after a 10-point deduction for breaching FFP regulations. Their winless streak in the last five games adds to their difficulties.

Berbatov firmly predicts a 3-0 triumph for Manchester City, expressing his belief that Everton cannot halt the Cityzens’ momentum.

In his statement to Metro, the former Manchester United forward remarked:

“Man City boasts an abundance of talent in their squad, capable of delivering stellar performances and overwhelming opponents. Considering Everton’s ongoing struggles, particularly with the points deduction, I foresee nothing but a Manchester City victory, given their array of match-winning players.”
