5. Dove

Dove stands out as my underrated mid-lane pick in the LCS. Despite the challenge of gauging his strength following a hiatus in the LPL last split, I maintain my belief in the Korean player’s prowess, which surpasses popular opinion.

Having achieved success during the spring split with Invictus Gaming, Dove has consistently held a mid-pack position in the LCK. His extensive champion pool offers Dignitas numerous options, although the question remains as to how quickly he can adapt to a new environment.

4. Insanity

The LCS decision to provide more stage time to domestic talents in the 2023 season has proven fruitful, with Insanity showcasing promising skills during the summer split. This bodes well for the foundation laid for his performance in the upcoming 2024 season.

Nevertheless, Insanity remains a talent in development, requiring additional time to reach his full potential. With a solid lineup on Shopify Rebellion this year, he has ample opportunities to shine, and it will be his responsibility to capitalize on them.

3. Jensen

Despite a disappointing year with Dignitas, Jensen remains a stalwart player in the mid-lane pool. While he may not be among the absolute elite, he compensates for this with consistency and, more importantly, experience. Forming a formidable trio with the top and jungle, FlyQuest is poised for success while uncovering the true potential of their young bot lane.

2. Palafox

After witnessing Palafox’s performance in 2023, expectations are high for the new season. Demonstrating increasing consistency throughout the summer split, he made fewer mistakes and led NRG in damage alongside FBI. The key area for improvement for Palafox lies in expanding his champion pool, ensuring adaptability to abrupt shifts in the meta.

1. jojopyun

For avid LCS followers, it comes as no surprise to see jojopyun topping this list. The Canadian mid-laner has consistently outshone his peers, and his move to Cloud9 for the 2024 season, replacing the departing EMEN3S, leaves little room for competition.

The crucial aspect for jojopyun in 2024 lies in defining his role within the Cloud9 roster. Will he adopt a carry-oriented style, or will he serve as an enabler for his bot lane? This distinction holds significance not only in the LCS but also in determining C9’s performance on the international stage.
