Marcus Semien collected four hits and drove in five runs, while the Texas Rangers scored 10 times in the second inning to secure a 15-8 win over the Oakland Athletics on Tuesday.

Jonah Heim contributed four hits and two RBIs as Texas extended its winning streak to four games, during which they have outscored their opponents 37-16.

In the second inning, the Rangers had 16 batters come to the plate, marking their biggest inning since May 23, 2015, when they also scored 10 runs in the third inning against the New York Yankees.

Texas equaled its season high with 15 runs and set a new record with 19 hits.

Kyle McCann and Seth Brown hit home runs for Oakland, who lost their third consecutive game following a six-game winning streak.
