Drake London pulls in a touchdown reception

Atlanta Falcons receiver Drake London was ruled out of the game due to a hip injury he sustained while making a 9-yard touchdown catch against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

London fell hard on his right hip after jumping over Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs to catch a pass from Kirk Cousins, giving the Falcons a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.

At first, it didn’t seem like London was injured. He tossed the ball away, celebrated with teammates, and even did a headstand, mimicking a college player’s celebration from the day before.

However, he did not return to the game and ended with two catches for 27 yards. He was seen riding an exercise bike on the sidelines, trying to get back into the game, but the Falcons decided to keep him out at halftime.

Before this game, London was Atlanta’s leading receiver with 48 catches for 525 yards and five touchdowns.
