Amon-Ra St. Brown, the Detroit Lions wide receiver, found himself on the losing end of a friendly bet following Notre Dame’s blowout victory over USC. In a playful wager with Lions teammate Julian Okwara, St. Brown agreed to dress as a leprechaun if Notre Dame won the matchup, while Okwara would become Tommy Trojan if USC emerged victorious.

With Notre Dame’s resounding 48-20 victory, St. Brown had to fulfill his end of the deal and dress in green attire. However, he didn’t have many positive things to say about his leprechaun costume. St. Brown commented, “This material is trash. Everything about this is trash, but it is what it is.”

Despite the loss in the bet, St. Brown has been having an excellent season with the Lions. Following a strong performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has accumulated 455 yards and three touchdowns this year, contributing to the Lions’ leading position in the NFC North with a 5-1 record.
