The New York Giants have been making moves to bolster their wide receiver group, with their latest addition being veteran Zach Pascal. Pascal, who has played for the Colts, Eagles, and Cardinals over seven seasons, agreed to a deal with the Giants.
While he primarily contributed on special teams in Arizona last season, his offensive production was limited, as he did not record any targets. Despite appearing in all 17 games, he was only on the field for six percent of the Cardinals’ offensive snaps.
Pascal’s last significant contribution as a receiver came in 2021 with the Colts, where he caught 38 passes. Over the past three seasons, however, his role in the passing game has diminished, with only 19 total receptions in that span.
His signing marks the second wide receiver acquisition for the Giants in as many days, following the addition of Lil’Jordan Humphrey. These moves aim to add depth behind key starters Malik Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Darius Slayton, reinforcing the Giants’ receiving corps.

Giants Weigh Quarterback Options, Eye Shedeur Sanders as Potential Franchise Leader
While the Giants are addressing their wide receiver depth, their quarterback situation remains uncertain. The team recently signed Jameis Winston and still has Tommy DeVito on the roster. However, speculation continues regarding the potential addition of veteran Aaron Rodgers, who is considering his options.
Additionally, with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Giants have the opportunity to select a young quarterback to build around for the future.
Amid these uncertainties, Shedeur Sanders, the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, has emerged as a potential draft target for the Giants. Under Deion’s mentorship, Shedeur has developed into a poised and talented quarterback, demonstrating leadership and playmaking ability.
If the Giants opt to draft a quarterback, Shedeur’s connection to Deion Sanders could be a factor in their decision-making, as his discipline, football IQ, and strong arm make him a promising fit for the team’s long-term plans.
