Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, one of the top prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, is set to participate fully at this year’s Scouting Combine despite fewer prospects working out than in previous years. Love confirmed he will run the 40-yard dash and take part in position drills on Saturday, aiming to demonstrate his speed, agility, and versatility.
Over three seasons at Notre Dame, Love amassed 2,882 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns on 433 carries, along with 63 receptions for 594 yards and six receiving touchdowns. His impressive production and skill set have placed him among the elite draft prospects, with the potential to become only the second running back in eight years to be selected in the top 10, following Bijan Robinson in 2023.

Jeremiyah Love Shows Versatility As Three-Down Back With Complete Skill Set
Love describes himself as a “three-down back,” highlighting his abilities as a runner, receiver, and blocker. He emphasizes that his blocking is often underrated, noting that few defenders have successfully challenged him in that area. He also expressed willingness to contribute on special teams and take on any role a team requires, underscoring his dedication and team-first mentality.
With a combination of speed, hands, and physicality, Love aims to impress scouts and solidify his status as one of the most complete and versatile backs in this draft class. His performance at the Combine will give NFL teams a chance to see firsthand why he is considered a top-tier prospect capable of impacting a roster immediately.
