Klay Thompson quickly found his rhythm on offense, making tough shots even with defenders closely guarding him. He scored 32 points, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 118-110 win against the short-handed Utah Jazz.

Coach Steve Kerr praised Thompson’s exceptional shooting, which helped the team establish an early lead. With this victory, the Warriors secured a place in the play-in tournament, a step towards their goal despite facing challenges ahead.

Thompson stepped up in the absence of Stephen Curry, who was resting. Kerr mentioned the importance of giving Curry a break, considering the high number of games he’s played this season.

The Jazz, led by Johnny Juzang’s career-high 27 points, suffered their 12th consecutive loss. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t break their losing streak at Golden State, dating back to February 9, 2022.

Thompson’s impressive performance included 25 points in the first half, his best scoring display of the season. He was supported by Jonathan Kuminga, who returned from injury to contribute 21 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Brandin Podziemski also showcased his skills with 16 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, demonstrating his impact as a rookie player.
